Horry County · South Carolina

We buy land.
We build on it.

South Acre buys lots and acreage across Horry County, and we usually pay more than the “cash for your land” postcard people. We can, because we build on what we buy instead of flipping it for a quick discount.

Why this exists

Good dirt sits idle.
We put it to work.

1

§ 1 · The land

Inherited lots. Land bought in a boom year and never built on. Parcels paying taxes every year for nothing. The postcard people offer half of what it's worth and call it a favor.

2

§ 2 · The demand

Buildable dirt is the scarcest input on the Grand Strand. New homes go up every month within a few miles of parcels that never hit the market. The demand is real; the connection is what's missing.

South Acre closes that gap as a buyer, not a middleman: we purchase the land ourselves at a real number, put plans and a local builder on it, and turn idle parcels into homes. Sell well, and the former owner can share in it, in writing.

The method

Buy. Build.
Both sides win.

01 We buy the land
A real offer, usually better than the postcard cash buyers, with a written bonus tied to what we build. Nobody gets a lowball.
02 We put a home on it
House plans and a local builder, packaged so a buyer can finance the build. Dirt becomes a driveway, a slab, an address.
03 The bonus pays out
If the finished home sells above the mark we agreed on, the former owner's bonus pays, keyed to the recorded sale price anyone can verify at the courthouse.

Who's behind this

South Acre Land Co. is run by the team behind Rendr Media, the marketing studio builders and developers hire to launch and sell their communities across the Carolinas and Ohio. Marketing what gets built is our day job, which is why our land comes to market looking like a community, not a classified ad.
